Also how to deal with suicide and to better understand the emotional impact of war on the veteran and the peripheral impact on his family.
Saturday Nov 8th At the Salisbury National Cemeter Annex Ceremony for to acknowledge, honor and remember all veterans. 11am the releasing of balloons signaling to start engines and RumbleQuake III (both to be videoed for replay at The BOAT) At The BOAT Displays open 24hrs The NC Moving and The Memorial Photo Tribute open to the general public The Human Welcome Wall to greet RumbleQuake III at noon Uncle Sam's USO Show and Special Welcome 3pm The Gospel Hour and update of I'll Be Home For Christmas 6pm on the Big Screen re-play the Video of RumbleQuake III 7:30 Nighttime celebration 8:pm On the Big Screen a movie dealing with Forgiveness and the impact of unforgiveness on your health. Sunday Nov 9th At The BOAT Display open 24 hrs 2:30 pm A special program dealing with Un-forgiveness and the 5 step process of Forgiveness To emphasize the Healing Power of Forgiveness to Add Years to Your Life and Life to Your Years. Hatred hurts the Hater not the Hated! To give and emphasize an opportunity for people to Give, Forgive and be Forgiven. To emphasize the 5 step process to: 1- Acknowledge the Pain, 2- Grieve the Pain or loss (person or the event) 3- Forgive the other person 4- Forgive yourself 5- Change the response to the event and determine to move on with your life as you re-emphasize the Healing Power of Forgiveness and its Power to Add Years to Your Life and Life to Your Years!! Summary - Understanding that every 65 minutes a veteran commits suicide. Realizing that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure: each of these efforts individually, and all collectively are intended to reach out to all veterans. The intent is to give someone hope, prevent a suicide and encourage them to continue striving to live a happy productive life.
